FIRST STEPS TO BEGIN
- Identify and convince minimum of 40% of your classmates who are willing to participate voluntarily.
- Select the two Co-Ordinators for your class by next couple of days. Get the Application signed from everyone who wants to be part of it and fill the online form. If you need time to get signatures, it is fine. You will need to get signatures from everyone by the end of First Week of the Competition.
- The first task will be to identify 3 goals that you want to achieve within this Best Class iteration. More details about this will be shared with your Co-Ordinators shortly.
- Every class can have its own interpretation for the criteria and decide how they want to act upon it accordingly. They can have the initiatives designed as per the group wish. There will be judging points which will be evaluated based on each of the factors and goals met.
- Few suggestions will be provided from our end. The goals needs to be identified. These are critical for self-evaluation, PoC evaluation as well as judged by the organizers.
IMPORTANT DATES
- 14-Jul-2024 : Roll out the Application Forms
- 20-Jul-2024 : Last Date to Register & nominate Class Co-Ordinators
- 22-Jul-2024 : First Week Report submission (in the required format)
- 1-Aug-2024 : Submission of Signatures of participants (in the required format)
- 24-Aug-2024 : Online meetup with Co-ordinators
- 14-Sep-2024 : Personal Meet with Co-Ordinators
- 12-Oct-2024 : Leader Board Announcement
- 26-Oct-2024 : Personal Meet with Co-Ordinators
- 16-Nov-2024 : Online meetup with Co-ordinators
- 22-Dec-2024 : End of Best Class 6.0
- 29-Nov-2024 : Judges evaluation and final Leaders Board
- TBA : Award Ceremony
CRITERIA
The total time period for this sixth iteration of Best Class is 5 Months (July 22nd to December 22nd,2024) to incorporate the inconsistency of the calendar of events for both years. Out of these 5months, active participation is expected for a minimum of 3 months. So, in total
- 12 Weekly Reports
- 3 Monthly Reports
are expected. Of course, there will be additional Points for extra activities outside of 3 months
- Three Categories for Criteria have been decided:
- Communication & Soft Skills (Activities within classes; Effective Communication -Writing & Speaking; Attitude;
Time Management) - Academics & Technical (Attendance; Internals Scores/ Class Percentile; Online Courses; Innovation/ Projects/ Technical Seminars within class)
- Volunteering & Participation (Helping hands in college or hostel events/activities; Participating in events -inside & outside college; Extra Circular activities – Sports, Cultural etc; Campus Cleanliness & Brand UVCE)
